A bit about me and my work:
Born and raised in tel Aviv, Israel. Live and work in NYC.
I make work relating to the death of the newspaper and its effects on society. Having been raised in Israel, a polarized and politicized society, has heightened my awareness to the creation of narrative of/for a society. Who creates it? Who controls it? Who write it? Art, just like journalism can be a witness as well as an expression of social tides and currents. I am interested in creating, capturing and stalling the moment in which a viewer contemplates the possibility of action. In the context of current events I build performative works in which the material seduces/solicits participation/contact.
